Jobs at Ashley House

We were the first, biggest and always strive to be the best

Ashley House was the first organization to provide community based care for medically complex and fragile kids in Washington. We started in 1989 and have been thriving ever since. We operate multiple locations in the South Sound area and have the capacity to serve the greatest number of kids. But most important to us is our desire to always provide the best care possible.

We offer a family-like environment

Every new hire is warned that the individuals we serve will steal their hearts and become just like a member of their family. We have fun taking them on outings such as going to the zoo, the movies, out to eat, Great Wolf Lodge and so much more! Where else can you work in a beautiful home, build amazing relationships, and have fun?

We offer a unique experience.

You can be intricately involved in providing sophisticated, innovative care for severely medically fragile children, teens and young adults. You’ll have opportunities to develop skills you never thought you could hone. Our nurses, CNA’s, Social Workers and behavioral technicians work miracles with the most challenging circumstances every day.

We’re important to each other

At Ashley House, we strive to make sure each one of us feels important and appreciated. We all work hard and we take our work seriously but we don’t let that get in the way of supporting each other and having a little fun along the way.

We offer competitive pay & benefits

Our compensation structure is designed to reward both experience and longevity with Ashley House. All direct care staff are represented by UFCW Local 21 and can gain additional support from representatives of that union. When we negotiate our Ashley House-UFCW contract, our philosophy is to give as much as we can. Our comprehensive benefit plan is great for individuals and families. It includes:

  • Health insurance for the employee and family members at a very reasonable premium, after meeting eligibility requirements.

  • Accrue Paid Time Off (P.T.O.) and Extended Illness time (E.I.T.) based upon the hours worked

  • Educational Leave

  • Bereavement Leave

  • Retirement Plan – employees are eligible immediately to contribute to a tax sheltered annuity. (Employee contribution only)

  • Additional compensation for working holidays, night shift, weekends and being on stand-by call

Now it's time to apply

Our patients receive skilled nursing care from our dedicated, loyal staff. We are careful to hire people that can provide the special care needed for them.
